Phil Carlson is still rocking a pre-war icon! This 1930 Ford Model A still gets around.
This is what Phil had to ad about his Model A…
“This is a rather battered old car that I found and purchased 62 years ago when I was 14 years old. This Model A has gone through several stages of repair, refurbishment, and restoration over the years. It’s still in its original condition in some areas, it continues to be used every week for local transportation.”
“Painted red 62 years ago in my father’s barn in Minnesota, it now resides in Silicon Valley where it sometimes is challenged to keep from being run over by the thousands of Teslas and other cars that don’t realize it takes a bit longer for 40 HP to get up to speed when the traffic light changes.”
