Truck carnage articles. Reports about catastrophic failure. There’s really not a lot to elaborate about. Mechanical or other devastation of a truck and/or engine is something we don’t particularly “like” to see. But photos and videos of truck carnage—even intentional destructive shenanigans—still have a way of captivating us whenever we see them.
When it comes to online content, stories about truck carnage essentially are the somewhat-necessary “bad” that go along with all the good we publish. Yes, cool features, informative tech and projects, and news reports are our standard fare. However, we also have a fairly deep library of stories that focus on instances where things go horribly wrong.
We know this particular collection of top 10 truck carnage articles might not sit well with some of you. But we also understand general curiousity (and people’s inherent interest in destruction, as long as it’s not our own) will probably compel many of you to check out all of the selections.
Thankfully, to our knowledge, no one was seriously injured (or worse) in any of the incidents. We won’t ever highlight guts and gore. The lone bright spot here is that at the end of the day, trucks, engines, and their ancillary bits can be replaced. People can’t.
